NEO-HYCOLEX EYE DROPS 5ML/10ML
Neo -hycolex contains a potent anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic corticosteroid and a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is active against all the pathogens commonly found in bacterial infection of the ear, eye and nose.

In the eye: NEO-HYCOLEX: To treat short term inflammatory and allergic conditions.
In the nose: NEO-HYCOLEX: To treat allergic rhinitis and sinus infections.
In the ear: NEO-HYCOLEX: To treat (otitis externa, seborrheic dermatitis & infected eczematoid dermatitis

INGREDIENTS
Hydrocortisone Acetate BP 1.5% w/v, Neomycin Sulphate B.P 0.5% w/v Benzalkonium Chloride solution (as preservative) USP 0.02% v/v Sterile aqueous vehicle.

THERAPEUTIC CATEGORY
Antibiotic, Corticosteriod

DOSAGE
2-3 drops to be instilled into the affected eye, nostril or ear every one to four hours, according to severity of infection. After the initial inflammation has subsided, the dosage may be reduced to 1-2 drops, three to four times a day.

SIDE EFECTS
Slight tingling sensation
Allergic reaction leading to itching, burning, redness or flaking skin

Viral, fungi or TB condition of the eye
Herpetic keratitis
Glaucoma
Perforated ear drum

WARNING
Antibiotics like neomycin can cause permanent deafness or partial deafness if they are absorbed into the body in very large amounts

STORAGE
Store in a cool dark place.
Do not store above 30 degrees Celsius
