Xigpa 10mg Tablet is an SGLT2 inhibitor used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children (aged 10 years and older) with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It works by helping the kidneys remove excess glucose from the blood through urine. It may also reduce the risk of cardiovascular death in patients with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease, as well as lower the risk of worsening kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease, cardiovascular death, and hospitalization for heart failure in patients with chronic kidney disease.

Directions/Usage:

Common Side Effects:

Urinary tract infections, yeast infections (genital mycotic infections), increased urination, thirst, nausea, and dehydration. Serious effects may include ketoacidosis, low blood pressure, kidney problems, or increased risk of lower limb amputation. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Safety Advice:
