Indications:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, stomach and duodenal ulcers, Zollinger–Ellison syndrome
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to omeprazole or its components. Concomitant use with rilpivirine.
Dosage:
40mg injected slowly intravenously once daily, usually for 2-5 days. Dose may be increased up to 80mg based on clinical response.
Caution:
Use with caution in liver impairment. Not recommended for use in children.
Side Effects:
Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain.
Storage:
Store unopened vials at 20-25°C, protected from light and moisture.
